Meet The Doctor

Dr. Valarie Dozier

Hello, I’m Dr. Valarie Dozier and I’m very grateful and excited to be joining the Crete Smiles team! I grew up on a farm outside of Genoa, Nebraska and during high school, I shadowed my hometown dentist and decided dentistry was the career for me. I loved the idea of being able to work with my hands while helping people and the variety that dentistry brings each day.

I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I earned my Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences degree and went on to get my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center-College of Dentistry. For the past 9 years I have been in Tallahassee, FL, gaining skills at a private practice in a rural setting. I have continued my education in the dental field through courses in full mouth rehabilitation, implants, sleep dentistry and cosmetic veneers. I also have several years of hands-on removable prosthodontics training at an in-office denture lab.

My husband Cory and I have enjoyed being close to the beautiful beaches and the excitement of the nearby bigger cities, but we are ready to come back to “The Good Life.” We have 2 children, Brooklyn and Chase, and we can’t wait to get them closer to our friends and family. Nebraska will always be home, and it will be nice not being the only people cheering for the Huskers anymore, Go Big Red!!!
